The Studio

c.h.ogle studios is a private recording facility set up by Jon Goddard in 1995 as a giant writing tool.
Somewhere to experiment with new technologies and systems - a place to create music for his own output - and also an editing, composing and recording space for film, TV, radio and theatre commissions.

"Jon Goddard writes great songs. Then he records them."

"These pieces characterize the album with a sense of roots and Americana somewhere between Mark Knopfler's solo albums and Bill Frisell's recent band works."

Jeff Melton - Staff Writer, Exposé Magazine

"His accomplished playing has come as no surprise but the wide spectrum of material on his CD Swell most certainly has. The album is released on the Voiceprint label and features the piano playing of Roger Eno."

Stephen Foster - BBC Radio Suffolk & Grapevine
